Meet the Personnel:

Jan Trombly Owner/Personal Trainer
Jan Trombly
Jan brings a mix of an athletic career, education and the lifestyle to her facilities. As an Olympic athlete she understands that fitness is a journey, not a destination.

She began training to further her athletic career and to rehabilitate herself from a potential career-ending injury. With the opening of Jan's Gym in 2006 and her studio in 1998 Jan brought her philosophy of "bring joy to life" into her studios. She lives a life dedicated to the health and wellness of her clients.

OlympicJan enjoys everything outdoors and continues to compete at an elite level in triathlons, marathons, canoe and kayak races, adventure racing and numerous bicycling events. Jan's Gym reflects her motto "life in motion" by providing the energy, motivation and strength needed to create the life you want.

Herb West has been in the fitness industry for twenty five years. He has a lifelong interest in lifting and weight training. Herb has Bachelor and Master's Degrees from Old Dominion University in Virginia. He is certified as a Health and Fitness Instructor by the American college of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Donna Uzel started practicing yoga under a disciple of Sri Swami Satchidananda. After seeing the results of a consistent yoga practice she determined that yoga would always be a major part of her life. With the prompting of her mentor, Donna decided to obtain her teaching certification, which she completed in 2005 under Master Adam of International Yoga Institute.

Donna's teaching style is a unique blend of Sir Swami Satchidananda and Master Adam. Her goal is to provide a class that is enjoyable while improving the well being of the individual. Donna is a certified massage therapist and incorporates Thai Massage techniques (Lazy Man's Yoga) with her private clients.

Joseph Campos comes to us with 15 years of teaching in Self Defense, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Joseph achieved his Black Sash in Pai Lum Kung Fu 2003, has won four championships in San Shou and four of his students have become World Champions. Whether its stress, high blood pressure or pain and inflammation this form of discipline will provide the necessary tools to achieve your optimum level of performance.

Michelle Osborn followed her passion and obtained her degree in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University in 2000. Michele has been a personal trainer for the last 12 years focusing on assisting senior citizens overall well being.
